It was in 2011 that YKK attended METS TRADE in Amsterdam for the very first time. During our first participation we regularly received the request for a size 10 spiral zipper with stainless steel slider separation parts (the beginning of the zipper).

The question was simple, the idea wasn't so bad, the implementation and realization has taken some more time.

But it is not without pride that YKK will be showing a new zipper during METS TRADE on November 19-21, which is very suitable for use on salt water. There were already plastic solutions, still missing was a stainless slider similar open end parts. This is now ready!

On the picture one of the first specimens we have made for testing. The result is impressive, very soon we will start production.
